DRY ROT

Dry rot is the result of years of ignoring visible wall damage, and at times this can be hard to see to know if you have dry rot at all.

Dry rot is caused by water entering the structure of the house from a bad roof connection, old windows missing flashing or installed incorrectly. It’s also caused by moisture barriers installed incorrectly, walls missing the appropriate L-Flashing connecting to the concrete floor. We found that even a small screw or bolt holding a satellite/or something can cause dry rot overtime when it is not sealed with any type of sealant.

We have the experience of repairing the dry rot with results like it never happened.
